Useful tips

You must have all your gear and be entirely able to manage on your own.
Only watercrafts more than 16 feet long should leave the bay, which provides shelter from bad weather.
A 10 to 15 HP engine is required.
The Manicouagan Crater Lake usually thaws between the last week of May and the first week of June.

Far from the tourist influx typical of outfitters in major hubs, you will not return empty-handed during your fishing trip at the Uapishka Station! There are many bodies of water in this preserved, untouched, serene setting. Species found in the area include lake trout, landlocked salmon, pike, whitefish, and brook trout. This is Mother Nature’s domain!
